| - This is clearly the best Giant Eagle in the city, and possibly their flagship market district? The grocery section of the store is your classic giant eagle, but with the market district flare. The cafe section is where they score all the points in my book, the best of the market district salad bars, with maybe a third more options it seemed, including garbanzo beans, kidney beans, and a much wider selection of dresssings. This location Also features a pizza station and a chicken station, which is much cheaper than getting chicken out of the hot bar (7.99$ a pound)? Which is the only option at their other stores I've visited. Sadly, the delicious Mediterranean sandwichs, the humble Guyrow/Gyro station was short lived and got bumped out by the sushi area. Still, It's great place for a quick meal, and they have the beer/wine area for your drinking needs. While this place is no Weigmans, it is the closest like thing we have here in Pittsburgh , so give 'em a try, they're pretty good, and if you've never been to a Weigmans, your going love it!!!!
