I had been shopping around for a slightly used Toyota Tundra this past Saturday. Me and my wife parked and were politely greeted by a salesman named Marcus. He was very nice and showed us a few tundras and we test drove one (2016 Tundra SR5) which we liked very much. The problem came after we sat in the showroom, Marcus introduced us to a sales manager. This gentleman said "This truck is expensive", In a loud tone. Which I have no idea why he would tell a customer that even before sitting down with them. Then he put down a piece of paper with a price of $42,000. I replied with that is extremely overpriced. He said what would you want to pay for it? I said $38,000 would be more reasonable but still expensive. This trunk was listed for $34,400 on their website! Yet the sales manager tried to sell it to me for $42,000. I just walked out on them. This is completely ridiculous and unethical way of doing business. I was a serious buyer and they tried to rip me off!
