So Home Depot installed a defective door and their installer "Sayre Remodelling" mis-installed the molding, botched up the door handle install so that the door does not close right, plus damaged the dry wall. Home Depot sent out a contracted inspector who verified the defects. Sarye's manager came out and verified the defects as well and said he would never have installed the door. The Home Depot district manager refused to acknowledge the defects even when Sayre pointed them out. HD "customer service"in Atlanta, GA offered $600 and no door replacement under warranty. We refused since repairs would run much more. Then HD lied to Chase Bank saying that all was resolved. Their Atlanta office is no longer answering calls. This is heading to small claims court and an attorney general complaint. These people had no conscience over ripping off us seniors.
