  • I would NEVER go there again. We were visiting that neighborhood and whilst passing by noticed this pub and since it was empty decided to walk in. We both stood at the door for a good minute hoping for someone to let us know if we should seat ourselves. We noticed there was only one table full of middle aged men. While we stood there another gentleman walked in past us and headed for the bar. At that time one of the middle aged men stood up wished that guy and proceeded to go behind the bar and poured him his drink. We stood there looking at each other at which time the so called bartender lets us know to seat ourselves almost like we were a bother. After we sat down he asked rather abruptly if we wanted the menus. Then when he came over to ask if we like something to drink and I asked him for some hot water with lemon to which he said he did not have hot water and when I gave him the surprised look he went on to tell me if I want to wait he could heat up some. By then we had enough, we both got up and walked out. I have never ever had such a rubbish experience in my life where a customer is being treated so poorly and after reading Steve C's comment here I think it was the same douche who is one old grumpy man and no wonder that place was and will continue to be empty. We walked up the street to CafĂ© Pleiade and I HIGHLY recommend them. Speak about customer service and the food was scrumptious. if you like good quality food and service with reasonable prices.........don't waste your time at Aristole and McGregors as that looks like a grumpy old man's hang out.
