We dined here for the first time during Restaurant Week. I am well aware that often you do not get the full experience of a restaurant during the Queens Feast but I would say we were pretty blown away! We got a last minute reservation, came in and only waited for 5 mins. We were seated upstairs with a great little table "with a view". We had a team of servers that took great care of us. (Special shout out to Scott who was super friendly!)
We each ordered from the Queens Feast menu which we have been pressured at other restaurant's to feel like that isnt spending enough but not here! My date had the Prime Ribeye steak. I ordered the Filet Oscar style. Our steaks were cooked to perfection. We indulged in a bottle of wine, Trefethen Double T, which was opened by the house sommelier.
I did spot the dessert I ordered being delivered to the table next to me and notices that it had nuts on it. The menu didnt list this and I am very allergic. The server offered me sorbet in place of it. I was slightly disappointed that the menu didnt say pecan crusted because that is a very common allergy. I so suggest that they add that to the menu from now on!
We didnt feel rushed in anyway. We toom our time to enjoy our wine. The atmosphere was wonderful and even with a packed restaurant it wasnt too loud!!
We will return for sure :)
