Brooklyn sorachi ace ale on tap was excellent. We had the farmers feast tasting menu (4 course, $35 plus wine pairing $20, great value). All locally sourced ingredients. Unexpected dishes for a pan Asian restaurant.
1st Course
Smoke corn chowder with corn tempura, thyme, and smoked bacon
Green bean tempura with a hot pepper aioli and sweet tsume
Corn and zucchini cupcake with tomato ponzu
2nd Course
White tuna aka escolar fresh cherries and cucumber. Bonito, pine nut brittle, and Thai basil oil in cucumber water
3rd Course
Lamb saddle wih local vegetables :corn, zucchini, heirloom tomatoes. Braised lamb leg and a black garlic sauce
4th Course
Sweet corn cake with black berry jam a brown sugar streusal marinated peaches and a popcorn whip cream
Service at bar impeccable (Erica mixed a mean Pimm's cup, and knew the menu inside and out)
