Mastro's City Hall has been a go to for myself and my merry band of golfing buddies when we visit Scottsdale. After our experience last pm it may need to be removed from the list. This review is not about the food, which as usual was excellent. The service/experience left us all with a bad taste in our mouth. Since we had all been there previously, knew the menu and what we were choosing to eat, we did not need a 15 minute dissertation on the menu items. We all felt uncomfortable that we were being victims of a heavy handed upsell. We all had cocktails, which are always great, and shared 2 bottles of wine. Luckily, one of the members of our party reviewed the bill and noticed that we were charged for a 3rd bottle of wine at $85. The waiter abruptly grabbed the check and came back with the correct check. As we we're paying with cash, we were all under the impression that the waiter was going to pocket the $85. Buyer beware. Also, they should get the message that the lighting is too low when every single table is using a flashlight to read the menu.
