| - WARNING... DO NOT COME HERE!! I tried to transfer care and come here from Dr. Chambers office (terrible experience with scheduling, appointment wait time, unorganized office staff, and reliability there), so I was hoping for something better. I made my appointment last week for today. I showed up 40 mins before my scheduled appointment time and checked in. The front desk woman said that I didn't have an appointment. Well, actually that I did, but it had been cancelled by the office manager, LINDA. I asked why. After a few minutes of speaking to another woman, she said "because of the negative exposure you gave another doctor, the doctor doesn't want the same review". Meaning, because I gave Dr. Chamber's office a "negative" review on Yelp, the whole Southern Nevada Women's Health network is banning me from seeing their doctors. (Luckily I travel out of state for work once per month, so I can establish care somewhere else, but geez I feel like I've been shunned from the Mean Girl's Club for being honest and reiterating what other Yelpers have said).
I left the office and proceeded to call the main office to speak to Linda, the mighty office manager... but she wasn't in, so I spoke to Destiny (scheduling girl from main office) and vented to her. She was very kind and patient me with me and my bad attitude because at this point I was pretty angry. (Thank you for listening, Destiny. You are amazing at your job because I probably would've hung up on myself). She transferred me to Linda, so I left a long, ticked-off message, but highly doubt she will call back. No reason to talk to her anyways.
You don't want to see me, fine. But have the decency and professionalism to call and tell me! My biggest gripe is the office's lack of professionalism and communication (since I didn't make it past the waiting room), which seems to be the norm nowadays. How hard is it to call me and say, "we cancelled your appointment because you were honest about the other doctor you saw, so don't come here". I would've gladly stayed home and not wasted (more of) my time.
