  • If I could give it a zero star I would... ! We had family in town raved about this place how wonderful it was and it turned out to be completely the opposite. There were 9 of us that was supposed to check in the resort for 2 night stay but we couldn't til 4pm. So we patiently waited and decided to eat at the only restaurant they had . Restaurant staff told us it was an hour wait . So we waited again! I took my 4yr old to the bathroom and the bathroom was very dirty. One stall was leaking, and all others were just filthy toilet papers all over the floor and wet. We then finally got seated at about 1 1/2 later and to my surprise there were soooo many open tables . What was the long wait for? Anyways from the time we got seated to our tables , I swear we had to flag the staff waiter cause we sat there staring at each other for a good 30 min to give us at least water to drink. No one helped us or greeted us st all !We noticed everyone who was at their tables before us had no food or drinks at the table either! After receiving our waters, we noticed 3 glasses out of the 9 had old red lipstick stains on them... gross! The waiter laughed about it !!! I asked about bottled waters and he said it's about $3-4 a bottle! Forget this we said ! We waited way over an hour for a table another 30-40 min for just water and place is just rundown with staff that seem to not care about their work place! It's a beautiful place don't get me wrong but they need to do something about the staffs not doing their job right and taking pride of the place! We walked out of the restaurant after over 2 hours of sitting in the restaurant wasted time of our life we can't take back! So we checked to see if our 3 rooms were available and unfortunately they said they're still working on it! Imagine the bathroom stalls were so filthy , and restaurant was slow as molasses ,glasses were filthy , & staff seem to not care , I just didn't wanna continue to be disappointed with our stay. And find more awful things about our rooms (dirty sheets, dirty bathroom, bed bugs ... etc!) who knows list could be endless....! So we all decide to just leave and go somewhere else. After over a half day wasted there we got nothing ! We left hungry as shit! We were all upset n disappointed! Called Hotels.com about it and got our money back for the rooms . Almost a whole day at that resort ... wasted all our time we can't take back! Awful experience!!!!
