My girlfriend had been itching to go here for months, and when we finally managed to stop in, all the anticipation let us down a little. The food was alright, but I think we made the mistake of skipping their specialties. My tuna sandwich was nice enough, but definitely overpriced and $2.50 for a bottle of water a lunch time was too steep, on principle. (Not to mention that if a place promotes sustainable, environmentally conscious food you expect them to offer glasses instead of bottles - strange).
A better time would be had if you capitulated on the price and ate what they are known for - desserts. They had at least as many varieties of cake as they did sandwiches which, in my humble opinion, is how all restaurants should be run.
