I was impressed with this place. My whole life I've gone to a small-town optometrist in Northern Michigan, but because I relocated for school, I needed a new, relatively inexpensive place that would accept my school's insurance.
I was promptly and politely greeted by a young woman when I walked in and she directed me to the inside desk area to check in. I had filled out the online patient registration/information forms so the check-in process was super quick and I was told exactly what I would be charged for my visit before it started. Crucial. After the usual eye tests/measurements (the puff of air one is the worst), I saw Dr. Ben Gellis and he was a lot of fun. Super chill and knew exactly what he was doing. It took only about 10 minutes from when I sat down for the first eye-measurement machine to checking out with some new contacts and new contact prescription. That's super quick.
The machine thing which determines your prescription is connected to the computer and other machines; this means that when you sit down to do the "which looks better? Number one? Number two? About the same?" routine, it's a lot more streamlined and precise.
Overall, it was a good experience and when I need more contacts, or an updated prescription, I'll be coming back.
