  • So I drove to Mountain View Park today in Scottsdale to head out on a bike ride on the canal trail. I'm in my truck and slide my phone into the pocket of my shorts. I get out of the truck and before I had an opportunity to do anything, my phone slips out of my pocket and falls face flat on the concrete parking lot. I screamed something I cannot write here and then I headed to Yelp and let my fingers do the walking... I initially went to Mobile Matrix Repair. The guy behind the counter asked if I had insurance. Unfortunately, I don't. I think I heard him chuckle but I was so angry, I tuned it out. $385.00 + tax to repair the screen on a Samsung Galaxy S8. Ughhhhhhhh! That was that. I was coming to the conclusion that I'd have to wait until I was eligible for a new phone because there was no way in heck I was pullin' four bills outta my pocket to fix this screen. Let me go into more detail about that. My screen didn't just crack. It looked as though a spider crawled around on the inside and built a dusty web. The glass completely shattered to the point where I was fearful I'd cut my finger while using swiping... So I jumped back on Yelp and scrolled down just a bit further and came upon uBreakiFix. I called them after reading their reviews. $219.00 + tax. SOLD! I headed down there and Sean helped me out tremendously. Not only did he install new glass, but he also tossed in a new battery in addition to running a diagnostic on the phone to better help me determine what resources and apps were draining my battery so quickly. Money well spent (that I'm still not happy about it) but accidents happen and I'm not giving my phone carrier anymore cash than I already am. It only took them two and a half hours to get my phone back to me and it honestly is as good as new. Very pleased with the customer service and the job they did! Thanks everyone!
