  • We used this landscaper on a referral from another company that built our back patio. We had turf installed along with a small "Windsor wall". Unfortunately, within two days of installation the synthetic turf began to melt. The owner of Mountain Pine, Mike, assured us prior to installation that window reflectivity wouldn't be a problem. I then spent five minutes and found the turf manufacturer's website. It is clearly stated that windows with southern or eastern exposure in the mornings can cause melted turf. Either Mountain Pine doesn't know anything about the products they provide, or they misrepresented the product. After contacting them about the melting they said they'd replace the melted area. They haven't followed through on that promise. Also, the ground under the turf wasn't compacted/prepped properly and it is now pockmarked with divots and totally uneven. Buyer beware.
