  • My wife and I were entertaining friends from out of town and decided to try a new place--and we we very pleased with the Grumpy Troll! My beer was a bit hoppy for my tastes, so next time I'll try their sampler glasses. The four of us ordered very diverse items and were thrilled with each one. My fish tacos were the best I've ever had anywhere and I can't wait to return and do their fish fry It was a Monday evening right at dinnertime, and the restaurant was moderately busy, but we were seated immediately. The service was very good and the only reason that I'm not giving them top marks is that we had a tribe of small children in the next booth constantly pounding on the common wall between us. Had we not had guests, I probably would have said something, but I didn't want to look like a.......grumpy troll. We'll be returning soon
