  • From the communication with Jason to the flight, the experience could not have been better. Seriously. Equinox Hot Air Balloon Ride with Jason and his crew was hands down better than you can imagine. We all met at a Cracker Barrel then hopped in Jason's car and rode out to Saddle Mountain, the launch site. We drifted above and over this extinct volcano. We saw deer, bighorn sheep and hawks. As we passed over the mountain I had to choke back tears of pure awe. We were surrounded by Nature, above and below. Not a red tile roof in sight. In the basket were a total of five people: my husband and I, Jason our pilot, and another couple, not a huge basket full of strangers. Jason was acutely safety conscious, informative and nice. The whole crew, Erin, Jackson and Tonya were nice. This was my husband's first flight and I wanted a special experience for him; this filled the bill. For anyone considering going ballooning, find out where you will be flying. My first experience was over Tucson and it was neat, but there were about a dozen passengers and we saw a sea of red tile roofs. This flight was ideal.
