My experiences with Waterway have varied. Today was definitely a negative one. I arrived, and the attendant tried to trick me into a $55 wash! Just by suggesting one additional item, the wash almost doubled in price from the $30 I was expecting. The staff seemed frazzled - cars were not getting washed very quickly, and there were quite a few employees standing around doing nothing.
I would've given 3 stars, but unfortunately what happened next brought it down to 2. When I got in my car, I noticed the lanyard that's usually attached to my keys was gone. I looked around for it, then asked the young man who had washed my car where he put it. He responded nonchalantly that it had been sucked into the vacuum. It wasn't the fact that it happened, it was the way he handled the situation. I spoke with his manager, who removed it from the vacuum and reimbursed me for the broken lanyard.
To say that the car wash was average would be an understatement. The cupholders were left sticky, and there was still dirt on the backs of the seats. The people who work there are very nice, but I just don't think their services are worth the money.
