Lovely spot by the waterfront with fairly priced and comfy eats. This cafe/wine bar is especially nice on a good summer's day now that they've built their patio. It's a pretty industrial looking space but the wooden finishes make it quite cozy. Walk-ins are generally ok and they can accommodate large groups as well.
I've come a few times for lunch and the food is good quality and decently portioned - my fav is the Avo Toast ($10), which comes with salad. Given their unobstructed view of the lake (and proximity to the skating rink), I'm surprised and happy they're not charging more. Service was a bit slow when they first opened but I'm glad they've since ironed out the issues.
They used to have soup and sandwich combos so I hope they bring it back!!
