| - It's Friday night, our 'eat out' night and we're walkin' along the Danforth, on our way to the crosswalk, planning to make a pick-up at a favorite mexican place of ours. Suddenly, this place catches our attention...the lovely pictures of the dishes covering the window, and we notice a bit of a crowd inside, awaiting food, so since we weren't totally committed to our original plans we decide to walk-in and see.
We are greeted with such a friendly hospitality that further sparks our interests, and we absolutely love love love Ethiopian cuisine, but don't know many places. You have to order by pointing at the picture of what appeals to you as there are no names...I ordered the typical variety of stewed lentils/veg and meat on injera and my hubby a stew of meat with french bun...and it was 'take-out'....we got it home, and wow was it ever yummy! Not to mention, the portions were more than generous, could have easily fed a party of 4 on the injera meal, and all for about $22.
This is why I love Toronto!
