Maybe we went here on the wrong night. Maybe we ordered the wrong thing. Either way, it wasn't very good. This was my second trip to The Dhaba. On my previous trip, I don't remember it being terribly bad, but the restaurant didn't particularly stick out in my mind. This trip, we ordered the palak paneer and the chicken tikka masala. The paneer was hard and rubbery, not the normal texture I have had elsewhere. The chicken in the tikka masala was very dry and chewy. We ordered both dishes to be spicy, and they were both somewhat bland. The garlic naan was definitely the highlight of the meal.
The restaurant was noisy, and the table set us far apart, making conversation difficult. The servers were friendly, however we often had to ask for various things. This may have been my last trip to The Dhaba. :(
