  • Dear Yelp Diary, In a nut shell....The Golden Steer is: fantastic, phenomenal, delicious, inviting, amazing, traditional, professional, accommodating...... shall I just throw a thesaurus at the screen!? In a flour tortilla.... As I sit here full and happy, I feel compelled to write a review and share my experience. My fiance and I had the escargot, Cesar salad, bone-in rib eye, petit filet mignon, cream corn, and whipped potatoes. I noticed a few complaints about the a la carte entrees. This place is a traditional steakhouse and that's the style! I'm THRILLED to see this type of place still around in Las Vegas. There aren't enough of them quite frankly. They make the salad dressing table side as well as the banana flambĂ©!! Highly recommend both and the escargot was sooooo delicious. The cream corn is OUT OF THIS WORLD!!!!! I'm usually not a sweets fan but I loved this dish. Scot and a few others whose names I, regretfully, didn't get, were just so accommodating. They told us the history of the place and provided a very fun experience. We had been looking for a spot in Vegas since we just moved here late last year. This is now our favorite restaurant and I can't wait to go back!
