Have you heard of a burr grinder and obsess about the perfect setting for what type of brew you're making? Do you carefully weigh and measure the level of grounds you need in order to hit that perfect espresso range? If you're answering yes, Duck-Rabbit is going to be a fan favorite for you as it has become one of ours.
The beans are obviously very fresh, but have an excellent roast where you can actually get some incredible flavor hints out of them from an americano or cold brew. Yes the menu is limited, but wouldn't you rather have quality over quantity?
The staff is incredible and doesn't make you feel like an incompetent novice if you're just starting out your coffee obsession. They ask some great questions to help you navigate through the different blends. The also make a great cup in house so you can try the roast before taking home a bag (which I would encourage you do...or take several, you'll go through them quickly).
The parking is off street and can be hard to find, but that's not rare for this area. Take a couple laps and you'll find something. It's definitely worth the walk.
