I've been to Grape Street for dinner a few times so it's time for a review. It is a lovely place for a meal, dimly lit and with indoor and outdoor seating. They also have a private room for large groups. The place is always bustling with people and I constantly see servers running around with food or drinks. It is lively but sometimes borderline noisy. I don't often comment on the bread but they have deliciously buttery bread.
Baked brie- Ah, the famous appetizer is quite delicious. I would recommend trying it at least once. It can get a bit overwhelming but it is brie after all.
Baked manicotti- This one is my favorite dish so far. Absolutely delicious. It is also extremely filling and oozing with cheese.
Penne a la vodka- This is probably my least favorite dish. The flavor is mediocre and yet overwhelming. The penne wasn't cooked properly either.
Linguine with white clam sauce- Decent but nothing amazing. Nothing about the dish stood out and yet nothing wrong with it either. More clam in the sauce would be nice.
Steak salad- I don't often order salad for dinner unless it is amazing. This one is indeed delicious and probably my second favorite dish here. The steak is wonderfully cooked, tender and flavorful.
Service here is efficient and friendly.
