It's been a long day. In desperation to escape from the cubicle cookie cutter world of corporate America I decide to give House of Cigars a try to unwind.
Upon entering I'm welcomed by a cute bartender, my favorite local brews, and the sweet smell of aged cigars are force fed up my nostrils. I'm liking this place. The cozy atmosphere is complemented by a well kept bar and flat screens in appropriate places. Being the cigar Sunday driver that I am, I'm surprised at the willingness the owner had to help me out. He wasn't a snide ass pretentious cigar aficionado that you see plastered on magazines, but rather a wise man leading the uninitiated. With the recommended cigar in hand, I start to puff the elixir-esque contents. I invite some friends and we get a poker game going. In an atmosphere with great friends, cigars, and crafted brews my work day is a forgotten memory.
Highly recommend this place as it's tobacco's cloud nine.
