| - I was heading towards the lake on a beautiful sunny evening looking to take in the fresh air and be calmed by the waves that gently crashed against the rocks. As I was heading there, a sign caught my eye - "Best Coffee in Port Credit" and since I am such a coffee lover, I decided why not try it out. I walked in and was greeted by the barista, who I can assume owns the place because of his age (he was old). The place was airy but cozy too, with some couches and tables that you would expect in a simple cafe, and hipster-ish touch with the eccentric decor.
Now, the coffee! I tried out two coffees - one very simple espresso (Reunion Island) and my guilty treat, a mochaccino. The barista ground the coffee perfectly, and I don't know, I just get excited seeing coffee being ground from beans into the powder - and served me a delicious coffee. It was a mild tasting with a slightly bitter earthy aftertaste that I love. When I had the mochaccino, I was even more delighted, the mix of flavoring was just perfect, not too sweet and not too milky, the way I like it.
There wasn't a whole lot of food options to accompany the great drinks, but you wouldn't really need any if the coffee was that good, and it was! I didn't stay for long, but took that coffee to go and enjoyed those jolts of wonderful coffee as I sipped on it towards the lake. And to top it off, I reached just in time for the sunset - the coffee greatly augmented the feeling of calmness. I highly recommend this place!
