  • I have always passed by this bar and never gave it a second look. Maybe because you can't really see inside or have any hint of what kind of bar and restaurant this is. I had some friends visiting from out of town and we stopped here after walking back from the Steamwhistle brewery tour. We quickly bypassed the stretch of mediocre tourist trap bars and restaurants on King and went here to escape the masses of the TIFF festival and we needed a beer. I was really impressed as I thought this was just another typical bar. They have a small patio up front which is great because King Street is a great street for people watching. I didn't know they had such a huge beer menu with many on tap. The waitress was really nice and friendly and we all enjoyed ourselves and our beers. Though the beer selection is not as wide as Bier Mrkt, you can always find something great here and will never get bored and it is definitely not as expensive or as packed as Bier Mrkt which is great if you want to enjoy your beer and meal in a more relaxes setting.
