| - This place is so sh*tty when it comes to piercings. The first time I went, I was told that I could not come in due to not having an ID, which was understandable. Then, I came in the next day around 6pm
and no one was in the parlor at all. There's a sign right in front of the store saying they were open until 8pm, so we waited outside until 7pm. The place remained closed. The next time I came in, the piercer told my mom and I that I could not get my ears pierced because I didn't have a birth certificate, which is ridiculous because I had my ID. They did not believe that my mom was my actual mom because she's Filipino and has a different last name! I'm mixed, so I have a darker complexion than her due to being half Black and having my fathers last name. It was disrespectful. Then I came in again the week after only to be told the piercer was not there until the next day because he only works Friday's-Monday's. I came in a few days after only to be told the piercer took a last minute week
off. This has been the most FRUSTRATING experience. I came in again today, months after this whole ordeal and was told once more that the piercer is once again not there. Several times I've asked to at least make an appointment but apparently, he only takes walk-ins. I most definitely would never recommend this place to anyone who wants a piercing. It's obvious that they're understaffed, and the fact that no one was there two hours before closing is extremely disappointing. And the fact that they would deny me service just because I don't look related to my mother gets under my skin. It would be a lot better if they had a more professional system, like letting clients make future appointments so they don't have to waste gas money driving back and forth there. Plus, they most definitely need more than one piercer.
