The Food Depot is what I would consider a variety store - small town grocers hybrid. As a variety store they offer all the typical slightly overpriced goods and as a small town grocer they offer a small selection of fruits, vegetables and refrigerated products. It's not a place I'd recommend as a weekly shopping ground, but if you need something last minute they usually carry it.
However, watch out for 'On Sale' items as these products are actually expired or near expiration. I bought a pack of dried fruit (99 cents for 2 bags, so I had to try them out) and after eating half a bag I realized they were over 6 months past their due date. I check all the "sale" items now and 9 times out 10 they are usually expired.
