  • What was a great place has now turned into the house of horrible experiences. Was coming here for 4 years. Have been requesting Terri for 4+ months. On Chinese New Year we came in for our usual two hour massage where pay $36+$30 tip every time. On this visit we were asked if we could limit our massage to 90 minutes because of the holiday. We agreed. When I undressed and laid down Terri asked if he could only give me 60 minutes. I assumed he meant that my friends would still be receiving 90 minutes. I asked him nicely if there was anyone else that could do the 90 minutes for me. He said, "you know what? Don't ask for me ever again!", and left the room. The girl from the front desk asked if we could do only 60 minutes for all of us because of the holiday. We agreed that was fine. At this point I wasn't sure if I had heard Terri correctly. He did my massage. After the massage we paid $20 for the hour and $10 tip. Terri then asked that I never ask for him again and then ran away. I asked the girl at the front desk if it was alright for employees to talk to customers this way. She said he didn't want to massage me anymore. I asked why. She said maybe I don't tip good enough. I told them I wasn't going to return. I am pressured to return because this is a place that my friends like best. Star Foot spa and Terri could have been more professional by letting me know that they didn't want to massage me. I am left to wonder what is so wrong with me that he couldn't just ask me nicely to switch him with another massage therapist. I am also the 2nd most checked in person here. You can be sure that this review was not take lightly.
