  • Hate the location of this stadium downtown. The area of 95 is almost always congested and I never get to the stadium on time, even when I leave a bit early. I did hear rumors that the 51s might be going to a new location in Summerlin, but I don't think anything will come of it. Cashman field itself is nice, but the venue is hardly equipped for sellouts, let alone "busier" nights. The concourse is impossible to move around when there's a lot of people, and the lines for concessions can be a total nightmare. Concession lines on the nights of the Mets/Cub games were 30 minutes long at some point, and can be nightmarish on firework nights and dollar beer nights. Obviously, this isn't the norm because the 51s rarely sell out LOL. It's a great place to enjoy some baseball in a city that, up until recently, lacked any real sports venues. But it's annoying to get to and not easy to move around. Fireworks nights are always an inexpensive and cool night out.
