| - Every time I get food here (usually about once a week), it's always the Fiesta Meal. Chicken breast, rice, salad (chopped Romaine lettuce and diced tomatoes) and it comes with a light spring dressing and sour cream for the chicken and rice. I usually get the spice level hot but G prefers his a combination of medium/hot. Like one reviewer mentioned, it does continue to burn after. :)
It's kind of interesting to note that they get you to pay for the meal before you sit down with your number at a table and there's an option to tip on the machine (if you're paying by any kind of card). Not quite sure why they have it set up this way... how do I know what I'm going to tip if they haven't served me the food yet??
All of that being said, their service is decent so I don't have issues leaving a pre-tip. (Oh, but on that note, why the heck is tip calculated as a percentage of the meal??? In my books, service is service, regardless of how expensive the meal is. I wish the practice of tipping with set dollar amounts would take hold vs a percentage of the meal. Would you tip a valet more or less depending on the venue or the cost of your meal? Ridiculous.)
But I digress, the food at Nando's is good, the dining experience: casual and the spice levels: hot, hot, hot!
