| - This was one of the few spas I could find that I could visit without having to stay at the hosting hotel! It was $65 for a day pass. Spent three hours boiling myself in various ways there, and it was totally worth it. I'm used to $20 spas, but now that I've been to Qua it's going to be hard for me to go back to the cheaper spas ):
They have a hot pool, a jet-powered body-temperature pool, a cold pool, waterfalls, HEATED chairs for chillaxing endlessly on, a still body-temperature pool, sauna, herbal steam room, arctic room, relaxation rooms (with magazines,) coffee, tea, pretzels, fruit... Just go and see for yourself. You won't be disappointed.
Tips:
1. If you're 5'0", don't even bother with the robe, unless you want to feel like emperor of Cesar's Palace and drag it on the floor behind you.
2. The herbal steam room can get pretty intense when the steam starts shooting out. You think it'll stop, but it doesn't, and then before you know it you can't see the other side of the room and you're thinking to yourself "this is how I die-- like a dim sum." If you do find yourself in this situation, use your towel like a shield and flail it wildly in front of you to part the sea (of steam) like Moses and GTFO. Go immediately into the arctic room next door and recollect your thoughts.
3. There's a machine that dries your swimsuit. It was broken when I visited, but I'm sure if someone hadn't jacked it up it would have been absolutely fabulous.
4. You can go completely nude or wear a swim suit. I typically go nude, but I opted for modesty and covered up a bit (;
