  • I'm a fan of Queen City Q. After going to the location Uptown too many times to count, I was happy to have one open closer to home. They have great drink specials (Hello, $3 Charlotte drafts on Friday) and they have a secret Happy Hour menu. Not really, I just never knew about it until recently. My go-to picks are smoked wings w/ BBQ sauce - probably my favorite smoked wings anywhere. Second would be their smoked chicken, comes with 2 sides and the portion is huge! You can't go wrong with the nachos either. If you find yourself waiting in the long line at the new Mac's in Matthews, head over to Queen City Q!
