I've been a Whole Foods fan for over 10 years now and was so excited upon learning one would be opening in Waverly, much closer for me than South Park. I have been in this store numerous times now and every time I walk out that door I say I will never be back. My word of advice is carefully check the expiration date on everything you buy. One one visit I purchased Carrs Table Water crackers and prepackaged sausages that I was planning on serving for guests the next day. Both had expiration dates several weeks prior to my purchase date and I had the receipts to prove it. How a brand new store can stock expired crackers of all things is beyond my comprehension. Bread is outdated, yogurt, eggs, deli meat....Everytime I go in I find at least one thing. And I am not alone. Friends have had the same experience, some within the first week of opening.
On a Friday around noon there is no fat free organic milk. A basic item a place like WF should stock.
The coffee bean station still has no coffee beans and no grinder. You'd think by now they would have it replaced.
There are some doozies of check out people. They need some training from SP. One of the things I like about WF is the efficient check out. However, these cashiers are more concerned about coming out of their station and unloading my cart than actually scanning in my groceries in a 2-handed efficient manner. And each time I ask an employee a question nobody has any idea what the answer might be.
From now on I'm skipping Waverly and their mess of a parking lot and heading back to South Park with my lot of $20 gift cards from customer service for expired products.
