Being the Apple Store in the Eaton Centre - expect this location to be super busy and short on servicing. Personally, I'm a downtown guy (live and work down here), but even I try to avoid this place if possible.
I dropped my phone in a meeting this morning - it was a one foot drop from my seated position to the floor of the boardroom. I was shocked to find that it was cracked badly. I brought it over to this location (across from my office) since they had replaced my screen last month. I was abruptly told by the technician that I would need to fork over another $190 to get it replaced.
Ultimately I think the staff in the store are just overworked as they`re borderline rude while other Apple Stores offer a much better experience. They should realize that Apple customers value their experience and costs are secondary. I could have gotten my screen replaced here today as it`s covered by work, but I chose to go somewhere else. At which point, the aforementioned technician told me that it would last a month if I did that.
