| - So lucky I found Monette! Wow, what a difference a hairdresser makes. I had a relationship with a former hairdresser for 10 years. Her name is not even worth mentioning, she is that toxic. Of course, it wasn't until I had a problem with my hair color (for the FIRST) time, that she showed her true colors. And all this time I thought we were friends. She so easily accepted my Christmas gifts and always, always 20% tips so easily with a smile. However, she refused to repair my hair at no charge to me. Insisted, actually, that she did no wrong. An excerpt from her text to me " I like you very much, but I'm running a business and I did nothing wrong." "I did nothing wrong and because you're not getting your way...." "You're trying to bully me into fixing your hair". Ladies, is this a professional person with a good work ethic? Oh, did I mention 10 Years? And all the while, she never massaged my scalp any longer (hadn't for years), was rough at the shampoo bowl and aggressively wrapped my hair with a towel so tight it gave me headaches. And I listened to her complaints about everything from St. Rose Hospital to the Clark County School District. She could get on some tangents! I suppose I am to blame for tolerating this unprofessional treatment, but Ladies, we do get comfortable and are anxious when it comes to our hair. After the 'YELLOW/ORANGE' hair disaster and her refusal to stand behind her work, I found Monette at Kaya Beauty. She is adorably pretty, sweet and personable.
Monette fixed my hair and helped me to feel beautiful again. (I had previously been wearing a ball cap all week I was so embarrassed.) She gave me a fabby scalp massage, styled and colored my hair beyond gorgeous, and even gifted me with complimentary products to help the condition of my hair! WOW, again! I had not even realized what I was missing until I went to Monette! And Ladies, I HIGHLY recommend you schedule with her, as she is professional, sweet and very talented when it comes to hair!
Thank you Monette!
