My brother and I used to come here once a week for pastrami sandwiches. He will still go once and a while, but I have since stopped going to Gandaolfo's. Last time I was there I had a really poor customer service experience. I went in around lunch time. The place was empty. There was a guy and a girl working. The guy (Glasses and tattoos) was cleaning the microwaves. When he looks up and sees that I ( a customer of all things) walked in he says "Oh, great..." and continues to clean the microwave. The girl was washing dishes or something. She asked if she should take my order and the guy has her continue to wash dishes. He continues to clean the microwave. He doesn't greet me. I'm standing there waiting at the register. It was as if he wanted me to leave. I started to clear my throat and he finally has the girl come over and take my order. The girl was polite and took my order. She gave my order to the dude and he did not look happy that he had to soil his counter by making me a sandwich. He makes my sandwich while grunting and moaning and rolling his eyes. I go to the drink counter to fill my drinks. Both ice tea bins are barren and empty. Is this place still in business? I finally get my order and I leave without tipping. And I always tip. That was the last time I've been there. I love pastrami, but am willing to go without because of that rude experience. Get it together owners. Fire this kid and train your people better. You lost another customer.
