| - PROS
-Legit therapists. When I was younger and recent college grad, I didn't have any money and would rely on groupons for my next massage. I encountered a wide range of skill levels, ranging from absolutely terrible to mediocre. Sacred Hour is one of the very few spas in the Northeast Ohio area that I can rely on for trained experts. Does not matter what service I am getting, I am always in good hands (literally).
-Ambiance sets the tone. The way you are greeted, having to take your shoes off, the dim lighting, the refreshments and light snacks available, the high-end magazines, the cozy furniture...all of these things set the mood and help you to relax before you even step foot in the room where you ultimately get your service.
-Did I mention the new steam room? I was recently suffering from my seasonal cold, so I set up an appointment to get a massage and steam. I requested to get the massage first and then went into steam for half an hour. It. Was. Magical. They even had a Eucalyptus spray that you could use at your own leisure. The steam room was totally private and I would occasionally go from the steam room to the rain shower and then repeat the cycle again.
-Online booking. They make it easy to see what services are available, who is available and when. Once you put your request in, they call or email to confirm your appointment.
CONS
-Space, Part 1. I believe that the spa is a converted house, which is fine, except you do get the noise from the street and other homes outside occasionally.
-Space, Part 2. Cleveland is really lacking a full-scale spa, where multiple people could walk into a room with a whirlpool, sauna, steam room (for more than 2 people), roman tubs, and chill room. The current building would not have room for all of this, but I hope one day they expand to be a full spa and offer many of the amenities you find at resorts.
BOTTOM LINE
-This is the best spa in the CLE and NEO area. I highly recommend and I really hope they continue to expand their services and space!
