  • A definite no return again. Check-in was fairly smooth; May 26-29, and our room in Century Tower B on the 33rd floor had a nice view of the T-Mobile Arena and neighboring Monte Carlo Resort for our 4 night stay. But even at check-out, no one could tell me what the incessant noise was that sounded like machinery; or a train; or even the roller coaster, almost non-stop day and night. I know the coaster doesn't run throughout the night, and from our room the track looked to be maybe 10 floors below our window. And the only sound from the coaster, was the screams heard from riders during its descent down the drop, seen from our room #3337. The bed mattress was firm but quite comfortable, but the pillows are some of the most uncomfortable I've experienced anywhere, and you're not given a choice of two, only one each. The restaurants were for the most part quite decent, minus my experience at Il Fornaio Cucina Italiana Bakery. Which I found to be below average. I confused this bakery with the restaurant, which we did not dine at, so disregard my check-in and tip of that establishment. Staff, for the most part, were quite helpful but at check-out, the desk clerk tried to charge me $20.00 for our use of the complimentary drinks we had on our tab. Apparently my wife's bartender at the pool when ordering her virgin mixed pina colada/lemonade drink, and Starbuck's barista, my Frappuccino and son's coffee, entered these orders as food not drinks. Fortunately my wife arrived with my frap in hand, and the receipt from Starbucks, just as the clerk was heading off to his manager to get the charges dropped. Sure, it's only $20.00, but you awarded me the complimentary $25.00 drinks card at check-in, don't now try to charge me for its use. And train your staff the difference between food and drink items when inputting them into the register. He was eventually given the okay from the manager to drop those charges. My true rating would probably be more like 2.5 Stars.
