Taylor Memorial Library is full of history, while the original library isnt there anyone more then is still a nice library especially since it contain a stain glass window and a fireplace that was part of Massey home that was near Victoria Park and Dentonia Park , which is now Crescent Town that is home to Massey and Taylor Creek.
So this library was original part of Birchcliff School and named Birchcliff library at Birchcliff and Kingston Road before it was permantly moved to it current location at Warden and Kingston due to offer by Fred Taylor as memorial Library to his late wife Florence Taylor who was a Scarborough native.
The library has various piece in the library that celebrate this as you will see in some of my photos.
Outside of the history, it a nice, small cozy library in which you can just sit and relax by the window and read.
