Perhaps I am a bit biased to the Barrymore as this was the place that I had my first date with my girlfriend, and it has become pretty special to us. We finally made our return and wanted to give a review of the place.
Ambiance: Great intimate spot, low lighting and excellent decor around the place. Very old vegas vibe in the classiness without actually being old and having a great clean feel.
Service: Best part of this place is excellent service. Both waiters we have had were excellent, nice conversationalists, knew their wines and were attentive without being over bearing. The bussers were pretty quick and ready with water.
Food: The food is pretty rich, but hey, you are here to splurge a little bit. This is American cuisine, we've had most of the seafood options when we have came so I can't really speak much past that. Some of the best scallops I have had were served here. Next time I hope to get the famous Lobster Mac and Cheese. Though it has the classics there are some adventurous items like Veal Sweetbreads, Muscovy Duck, and fish that we don't always see here. Give it a go!
