Im really pushing it by giving two stars seriously. I have never felt so insulted by the heavy set sylist with short hair (not going to mention any name) but talk about unprofessional. I make the appt and emphasized to the receptionist that I have natural thick hair an I assume it was ignored. When I arrive the stylist looked at my hair and immediately stated a 60 upcharge with disgust an attitude. I didnt mind the additional charge but it was her arrogant attitude that upset me. She completely acted as though she didnt want to even touch my hair. Then proceed to tell me it was because she is a seasoned stylist(even though she didnt act like one). I had to set abother appt with the "black stylist" to render service. Suggestions to any african americans going to Toni and Guy should indicate that you have "black hair" so they can set the appt with the black sylist. And I thought this was a multicultural salon. Total misconception.
