| - My boyfriend and I used to be frequent cupcakery customers, we absolutely loved their cupcakes! They were rich, full of flavor, and the actual store was really pretty inside. For my birthday on Wednesday, May 15th we went and got half a dozen cupcakes to celebrate like we do every year. It's been a few months since we've gotten cupcakes from this location but we were shocked to walk in and find the once cute and pink cupcake shop was completely different. All of the decorations were gone, the walls were white and very dirty, they had two dirty white benches inside that were chained together, there were hardly any cupcakes out on display, the cookies and macaroons they had out were scattered in a random case and looked days old, with piece of the cookies chipped off. The cupcakes in their display looked old and stale and overall the place just looked really run down. We were shocked at what we saw and contemplated walking out, as the cupcakes and the store looked anything but appetizing. We had already driven from southwest over here so we decided to put our instincts aside and order half a dozen. I seriously wish we would have just left. We got the cupcakes, brought them home, and to no surprise they were horrible. They were very dry, lacked flavor, and tasted like a cupcake from Walmart but double the price. I'm very very disappointed with this place and feel so let down that I chose this place to get my birthday cupcakes from. The service was lack luster, the store was dirty and run down, and the cupcakes tasted days old. There are too many other great bakeries in town so do yourself a favor and skip this one! Also, the store smells very very strongly of cigarette smoke, gross!
