6 months after giving up on Chipotle because something changed(their ingredients), I went to this location to give them another try. I order my barbacoa burrito and the guy sloppily put my burrito together and ended up double wrapping it. I go to pay w a $100 bill and I'm told they don't take them. I assume he means they don't have change. NOPE!!! They just don't take them from time to time because they've had counterfeits brought in. Hmmmm....."they make pens and devices to determine if the money is fake" I tell the employee. "We don't take them" he said. And then he SHOWED me the pen AND the electronic device I was speaking of???!!!!!! WTFF I'm thinking. Clearly you have them so use them. Apparently they are used w discretion. Naturally I'm perplexed and feel like it's personal. Unfortunately I went to get change and returned to pay for the burrito. I called the location today and spoke w a manager whose explanation was worse. She reiterated what the previous employee said and then said ......"I wasn't working but we wouldn't have had change anyway" WTFF???????? Now another employee called me back, I didn't leave my #, to ask if I'd like to come in for a free burrito?????? HECK NO! It felt like a personal decision from the employee who prepped my burrito and the manage was just as ignorant with her " we wouldn't have had change BS" TRUMP had empowered idiots all across the country if you know what I mean. Yes I'm African American and I never should've returned
