  • I've been itching to get my nose pierced for a long time! After plans fell through to go with a group on Fremont Street, I looked for a local place close to my house. I found The Piercing Shop, it has great reviews, so I decided to give it a shot! The nose piercing cost $60, and obviously a tip! I was promptly greeted by John, who also performed my piercing! He was helping another customer, but let me know I needed to fill out some paper for my piercing and told me where I could look to pick out my jewelry. They had a nice selection of options for the piercing. Note: I did NOT need an appointment in advance to get my piercing.. WOOOOO! Once it was my turn John was a superstar in explaining the process, why he uses only needles (versus those guns), and if he was annoyed by my 1 million nervous questions he didn't show it! I also learned from him why sometimes I get weird bumps in my ear piercing (DARN YOU, MALL GUNS!). It was a really great experience. If I decide to have any other piercing done, I look forward to visiting John again.
