First off I will give credit where credit is due. The tour itself and the guides were amazing!!! The views were breathtaking and the guides informative and energetic. However what I am disappointed me was the response of the office staff to the theft of $200 out of my purse from one of their "secure lockers". Lets start from the beginning. We arrived and were promptly weighed and given a quick orientation. I had a small wristlet that loops around my wrist. I told my boyfriend give me your money and phone so i will put in along with mine in there so nothing will fall out of our pockets into the canyon. As I was doing that, one of the staff member urged me to put all of our valuables into one of their "secure lockers" as the wristlet would probably fly off my wrist while on the zip line with there being no possible way to retrieve it. I agreed and placed my phone, wristlet and my boyfriends phone in the locker and secured it and we were on our jolly way. The tour way amazing...but back to the crappy part. We got back opened the locker retrieved our belongings. Between the 2 of us we tipped the boys $60. When i opened up my little pocket where i had 5-$100 bills in I quickly realized 2 of them were gone. We confronted the office staff and they were very defensive and unapologetic. They INSISTED that I was mistaken and that I must not have had 5-$100 bills in the first place. No apology no nothing. The staff are the only people who have access to the locker in the 2 hours + we are out on the mountain, and the fact that they were very adamant on me utilizing their lockers makes me suspect them more, especially because after the tour I quickly realized that there were no way my wristlet would have fallen off. I enjoyed the tour, however now have a very bitter taste left in my mouth and will not recommend them in the future. DONT USE THEIR LOCKERS even if they insist THEY ARE THEIVES!!!!
