WOW - if you want your loved ones stuff to go missing this is the place for you. We had to have our confused neighbor taken to the Er where he spent the next 5 days, on day 3 he was transferred out in the early morning hours ( 1-2 AM). Now the facility he was taken to, did a complete intake of his personal belongings on arrival. The next day we found out he didn't have any of the new personal care items we purchased for him. The receiving facility could show us their check in list and what he was brought over with from Banner Baywood. Banner baywood was not able to and after calling their security people who didn't want to be bothered or the house supervisor who assured us that they where not left behind and wanted me to call the ambulance company( which please under stand I was on my 4 person at Baywood at this time and had spent 1 hr on the phone - yes I was pissed) . I called the CEO's office and was pushed over to the customer "care line" Which the person there told me that when he was signed in they( Banner Baywood ) are not responsible for any losses or theft. We know its not lost - "as they looked for it". So I filed a police report with Mesa PD . The part that concerns me is this is suppose to be a safe place for people who are at their most vulnerable ......... I will never ever send any family or friends to Banner hospital- you can bet your paycheck on it. Oh and by the way - I'm still waiting for the director above the guy in customer care to call me.
