Eh... the service is okay. The word Japanese could probably be taken out of the name. I was super excited to come here because good Shabu Shabu is hard to come by in the states. Well my search continues :/. I ordered the salmon and it came out sloppily cut and thin like lox. Yes LOX. The second I put it in the pot it fell apart and nearly disappeared. I ordered a Kombu base. The kombu had zero flavor, ZERO. The fact that they offered ponzu, raw egg, and goma sauce was nice, but the goma sauce was soooo thIn, it was practically water. They really should offer a small plate to transfer food from pot to sauce/mouth otherwise your sauce gets extremely watered down and messy.
No utensils, water bath to clean out the pot.
Arnold palmers made with green tea were good.
Gave the girl a huge tip and we stayed behind for 30 minutes after ate to catch up with friends and she just seemed annoyed and rude.
Sukiyaki is nothing like their sukiyaki.... it was more like an extra sweet teriyaki flavor. Probably won't return here or recommend.
