| - Week of 10/08/17, I had booked (through text) an appointment for my friend and I to get our lashes done together for Sunday, 10/15/17 at noon.
Received a confirmation text the day before for the both of us.
Day of the appointment comes, an hour and a half before my appointment I received a text stating their lash tech had an emergency and had to cancel me.
Defeats the purpose of my friend and I coming together but I was understanding, things happen. They were able to schedule me the following day at 6:15pm.
10/16/17 - Day of rescheduled appointment. Came in, no one was there to check me in or greet me - waited about 10 mins before someone actually came out and say that the tech will be with me shortly. Place is really cute, very sheik, nice and cozy.
I was scheduled with Alexa. I was comfortable during the whole process and it didn't take as long as I expected it to be, took about an hour and a half.
10/17/17 - Not even a full 24 hours, maybe a good 12 hours had passed, and I already noticed about 5-6 fallouts. Which didn't seem normal to me especially that I just gotten them done AND I didn't get them wet, as instructed. I texted them as soon as I noticed and I was told it is normal to lose "about 2-5 lashes per eye, per day". Informed them that I would just keep an eye on it.
10/19/17 - TWO full days since getting them done. Front left of my left eye has completely vanished. There was no eyelash on it whatsoever. Notified them immediately and I was told to come in 3:45pm with Kaitlyn. Went in that afternoon to get it fixed, because it was a free touch up or free service - you get the vibe that the girls/techs really want nothing to do with you.
Thanked her, if she was even Kaitlyn because they don't seem to tell you their name or greet you, and went about my way.
10/22/17 - SIX days after getting them done. My right eye was completely sparse.
My left (which had to be fixed after just two days) eye was still pretty full, but my right eye looked like I've had them for 3-4 weeks. I took care of them as instructed. I was told that after 2-3 weeks I am recommended to come in for a fill, but it was only 6 days after getting them done and I am already needing a fill. I was very unhappy with how they are holding up and of course the problem was brought up to them. NO RESPONSE.
10/23/17 - I texted "Did you receive my message yesterday afternoon, please responsd". About an hour later, I received a response from Shauna. I was asked how I was taking care of them, if I'm getting them wet, etc. Told her that I was following the instructions of how to care for them since getting them done.
After explaining that I was unhappy of how they're holding up, because now they are very uneven, it seemed like they were pinning the blame on me. I understood the whole process, I have had lashes before. As a paying customer - yes these are a luxury and these are extra things somebody does - for these kinds of things you would just expect great quality and for your lashes to actually hold up for the time it's suppose to. Another free touch up was scheduled.
10/24/17 - THIRD retouch in just a matter of a week. Scheduled on Sunday (10/22/17) and was told to come in at 6:30pm. Got off a little early and got there by 6:10pm. Didn't wait too long in the waiting room and was brought back by Bri(?). She was super nice, made good conversations and seemed like she was "ok" with doing a free touch up. I definitely was a rushed job though. She already had an appointment at 6:30pm, I guess the same time I was told to come in. But obviously paying customers were a priority, from what it seemed like. Even heard a coworker of hers come in, although with my eyes close, kind of hint "don't take too long with her, because you appointment is here". I thanked her for the touch up and just left as quick as I could.
About 2 weeks since getting my eyelash extensions done and they are completely nonexistent.
Like I had mentioned above, people do the extra things in life to make them feel good about themselves. Paying this much for these kinds of things we deserve great quality. And I just did not get that here at Sassy Lounge. It's too bad because I originally gave them a shot considering my couple of friends that go to Sassy don't seem to have problems. I was the "lucky" one to receive a terrible experience. Unfortunately, I do not see a future return.
