| - I've been going to Thomas dermatology for years and specifically Christine Crovetti since she was at a previous practice.
As others have mentioned, the front desk staff is lacking. I don't think they mean to be short with people, the place is just kind of a zoo. They have a lot of doctors and staff to support and a lot of patients enter that office. Not an excuse, but I do have some compassion. If you show up early to an appointment, you're going to wait until your appointment time - that can't really be held against them. You generally need to wait to see the doctor, I don't have any doctors I see that I don't wait for in general. I've never waited longer than 30mins and when I have asked the nurse there has always been a situation where they needed to spend some extra time with a patient because something happened - they're not back there filing their nails. I get waiting is annoying though.
The nursing staff is great. I recently had multiple in office procedures on my face and the nurses were awesome. Very kind and helpful, made sure I was comfortable, felt ok and had ice.
Christine is hands down the best. She is so caring and knowledgeable. I trust her opinion and she has helped my skin beyond belief. I've gone to her for possible skin cancer and having moles removed, acne, botox and fillers, rosacea, melasma, a large facial scar and cosmetic procedures. She explains things thoroughly and makes sure things are done correctly. I have referred numerous friends, family and coworkers to her. I don't care what the wait time is or how the front desk is - it's worth it to have a doctor that is so great. I used to wear a lot of makeup to hide my scar and dark spots on my face, I now go out with no makeup on and just some sunscreen and receive compliments daily on how my skin looks.
