 | - This restaurant has a great view of the city from pretty much every table. We took the incline up, and the restaurant is only about a 5 minute walk from the top. We were 30 minutes early, unsure of how long it would take to get to the incline and up to the top so they had us wait in the bar until our table was ready. The bar has a great view of the city too, and it took only about 10 minutes for them to get our table ready.
The service was very good, however, our table was in an awkward spot. There were two tables with large parties behind us, so they had expanded those tables making the waiters and waitress' jobs difficult, often squeezing between my chair and the chair behind me. It seemed like our table could have been moved to accommodate the large parties and the service lanes needed. (the first chair I sat in also had a nail sticking out, but since there were 4 chairs and only 3 of us, i switched chairs and let our server know).
We had the Ichiban, crab cakes and jumbo shrimp for a starter and all were delicious. We all had different kinds of fish ( salmon, rockfish, halibut) which were great. The salmon was good, but I like it more well done and it was rare in the middle.
For desert, we had the chocolate latte cake (which may be one of my favorite deserts ever) and the key lime tarte.
I would recommend this restaurant to anyone for a fancy dinner, with a beautiful view.
